College Basketball and the NBA draft

Here's is ESPN's All American team
G Arron Afflalo
I agree, his stats aren't great, but he is a team leader, shoots well, plays great defense, and is the best player on probably the best team.
G Acie Law
Probably the 2nd best college player this year, he has all around game, and comes up big at the end of a game. He has made Texas A&M a Final Four contender.
F Alando Tucker
Like Afflalo, best player on one of the best teams. His numbers aren't eye popping, but he has leadership and all around game.
F Kevin Durant
Player of the year, when you roll off enough 30 20 games, its no hard not to get first team, even if you're a freshman. Putting your team in the top 20 by the end of the year helps too.
C Nick Fazekas
3 losses for his team, top 15 ranking, and 20 10 numbers with amazing shooting numbers.

ESPN got this right I think, Jared Dudley's not here, but him and Alando Tucker are interchangeable.

First team All Pac 10
Arron Afflalo, UCLA
Jon Brockman, Washington
Aaron Brooks, Oregon
Darren Collison, UCLA
Lawrence Hill, Stanford
Derrick Low, WSU
Kyle Weaver, WSU
Marcus Williams, Arizona
Nick Young, USC

I agree mostly here, but I'm not sure why there are 9 guys here. Don't remember 9 guys being here last year. I don't think Lawrence Hill should be here, but I think the voters felt someone from Stanford should get credit for their season. Darren Collison is good and all, but is he better than Mustafa Shakur? No way.
Honorable Mentions:
Ryan Anderson (CAL, Fr., F), Maarty Leunen (ORE, Jr., F), Spencer Hawes (WASH, Fr., C), Brook Lopez (STAN, Fr., F), Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (UCLA, So., F), Jeff Pendergraph (ASU, So., F), Gabe Pruitt (USC, Jr., G), Ivan Radenovic (ARIZ, Sr., F), Mustafa Shakur (ARIZ, Sr., G), Josh Shipp (UCLA, So., F), Lodrick Stewart (USC, Sr., G), Ayinde Ubaka (CAL, Sr., G).
Pruitt and Ubaka were on the Pac-10 team last year, yet the best guys on this list are Mustafa Shakur, Radenovic, and Hawes.

Player of the Year
Arron Afflalo

Freshman team
Ryan Anderson, Cal
Chase Budinger, Arizona
Spencer Hawes, Washington
Taj Gibson, USC
Brook Lopez, Stanford
Tajuan Porter, Oregon

Tajuan Porter did well early on in the year, but I don't know if he should be here either. The other guys here were amazing at times, players capable of carrying their teams to the Final Four if not this year, then next year.

Freshman of the year
Chase Budinger

Coach of the year
Tony Bennett, Washington State

ESPN's Mock Draft
ESPN has a mock draft and from the looks of it, there's almost no way Hawes is staying in school.
The draft generally is like this
1. Greg Oden
2. Kevin Durant
t-3. Brandan Wright
t-3. Julian Wright
t-3. Joakim Noah
6. Al Horford
7. Spencer Hawes
8. Thaddeus Young
9. Yi Jianlian
10. Brook Lopez
11. DJ Augustin
12. Josh McRoberts
13. Chase Budinger
14. Corey Brewer
Hawes can go as high as 3, and as low as 8.
Generally the Sonics get Hawes at 7, but sometimes end up with Horford or sometimes Brook Lopez. Rarely, they end up with one of the Wrights or Corey Brewer, and even rarer, they end up with Oden, Durant, or Noah.
All of these situations make me happy because a guy who can get blocks and is a sure thing is something we need. Hawes, Lopez, and Horfod are already better than Swift, Petro, or Sene. One of the Wrights or Brewer would be useful because if Rashard Lewis leaves, an explosive SF who can play great defense would be a great addition, and then of course, Oden, Durant, or Noah would be amazing because they can be cornerstones for franchise for later.
