Sonics get number 2 pick!

Sonics get the number two pick, Blazers get the number one pick. I can't explain how ecstatic I am, the NW is now a basketball hot bed, with two future hall of famers going there. I'm kind of mad we didn't get the first pick, but I think both players are championship caliber players. The Sonics are now saved, and are probably going to stay in Seattle. Oden would really have helped us out on defense, but either way, we get a good enough player that Rashard Lewis might resign, and we immediately become contenders.

Or we can let lewis leave and spend the money to get a good point guard who can play a shred of defense.

Yeah I was just going to say, we should spend max money on Chauncey Billups. That would improve our defense a lot and give our team a needed pg. If not we could possibly sign Mike Bibby if he doesn't sign his option. The cheapest, but worst route is signing Maurice Willaims to main the point position. Or another scenario is resigning Rashard, and trading Wilcox, Earl Watson, and one of our centers for an Andre Miller type player. Either way, Billups, Ray Ray, Durant, Wilcox, Swift, with Collison, Petro, Watson, and Wilkins on the bench, or Andre Miller, Ray Ray, Rashard, Durant, Swift, with Ridnour, Wilkins, Collison, and Petro/Sene on the bench is pretty good.
